Originally from Meridian, MS, Brian made his way to Lexington, KY in 2009 by way of Marshall University. Brian graduated with a bachelors in Exercise Science with a focus in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab. NSCA, CSCS certified, with 14 years of personal training and group fitness experience, Brian specializes in HIIT and strength training, and loves working with diverse groups both large and small. With a life mantra of “Be the Change”, Brian believes that we all are a collection of our past experiences and decisions, however, the person you want to be is crafted by your choices today.
DaKeya Burnam is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition coach, & Silver Sneakers coach. She is here to put a UNIQUE spin on the idea of fitness & nutrition. Not only does she focus in on one on one Strength & Conditioning to encourage weight loss/gain, or nutritional guidance to change the trajectory of your mind towards food, but she also offers group classes to encourage you to groove through your fitness journey. BBDance, Sculpt 45, Stretch, & Trap Gospel are classes provided to feed your soul! She welcome ages 15+ . Injuries, medical conditions, & unsure mindsets are welcomed. Ready to change? Heaven is a former Collegiate Track and Field Women’s High Jump athlete from Lexington, Kentucky. She attended Hanover College, and graduated from University of Kentucky with a Bachelors in Exercise Science.She is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, her favorite types of training include Hypertrophy & Strength Training (muscle growth) as well as Stability and balance. Her creative exercise design and adaptability sets her apart from other trainers. Heaven can be whatever type of coach you need from hype woman, to cheerleader, support coach. Heaven’s favorite part about being a trainer is the connection and friendships she makes with individuals from all different walks of life.
Kenzie is from Versailles, KY. She is a University of Kentucky graduate with a BA in Integrated Strategic Communications and is NASM-PT certified. Kenzie is passionate about educating people on all things health & fitness through personal training, nutrition coaching both in person and online! Kenzie lives her life with a “live fully” mindset. This motivates her to focus on her health and wellness goals so she can live her life fully while being the healthiest and most confident version of herself! Her goal with her clients is to help them achieve this mindset while working with her clients one on one through their training and nutrition! Her favorite type of training is strength training. Her goal is for people to surpass their goals and feel confident within themselves both inside and outside of the gym!
Justin was born in Indianapolis, IN but grew up here in Lexington. He is a senior at the University of Kentucky studying Kinesiology and Health Promotion. Justin is NASM certified and specializes in Youth Group Fitness and athletic performance. Justin’s greatest strength as a trainer is his high energy, patience and positive approach towards achieving long-term and short-term individual goals. Justin coaches middle school basketball, and hopes to specialize in high-level basketball skills training one day.
Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Mckenna loved playing basketball as a youth, leading to her playing on the collegiate level. McKenna obtained her Bachelors in Sports and Exercise specializing in Athletic Performance. Being an athlete and a sports fanatic herself, created her passion for building young athletes to be elite. Along with training our youth, she takes great passion in training her day-to-day clients who are looking to become stronger and feel better!
Relocating from West Palm Beach, Florida, Nef came to Lexington, Kentucky with his mother and siblings. While being NASM certified, his favorite types of workouts are HIIT workouts, but focuses on stability and mobility within his career. With a mindset of ‘How you do anything, is how you do everything’, Nef’s believes that whatever work we put in, is the work that we will get out. If we put in all of the work, we will reap all of the results that we desire.
Parker is from Bardstown, Kentucky. He is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, I.S.S.A. Certified and is currently pursuing a degree in Physical Education at the University of Kentucky. He specializes in Strength and Conditioning, Body Building and Improving mind/body connection. Parker's ability to maximize every repetition sets him apart from other trainers.
Born and raised in Lexington, KY, Kameron is here to help others push themselves to new heights. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a double major in Business Management and Marketing. Having started personal training in 2019, he has been with CSS since, and is also a trainer at Orangetheory Fitness. He specializes in muscular development with an emphasis on weight training. His high-energy and focus is great for anyone looking to take their current physique to the next level.
Laura Catherine Wilkins
LC is a native of Kentucky, having been born and raised in Bowling Green. She attended the University of Kentucky and graduated with her bachelors in social work (2015). During her time at UK she found fitness as a way to relieve stress and maintain her health. However, she quickly realized her passion and knack for empowering others to reach their individualized goals. In 2017, Laura and her now husband moved to NC where she taught group fitness classes full time including P90X, RIP, Strength Training, Bootcamps, Yoga Flow and more. Last year, LC and her husband moved back to Big Blue Nation. She was lead to CSS as a perfect opportunity to continue showing people that they CAN keep a commitment to themselves and that showing up as their true, authentic selves leads to not only looking good, but FEELing good. For LC, helping others transform from the inside out is what it’s all about!
